I’ve been inspired by soooo many artists lately. This summer is so rich. I’m currently reading books, Gemini Bites by Patrick Ryan, I am J by Cris Beam, The Metropolis Case by Matthew Gallaway & re reading a old-time fave series, Tales of the City by Armistead Maupin. I’ve been touched by [who is now my favorite visual artist] the paintings of Nir Hod, & inspired to jump through my bones with the graffiti styles of Bansky. Music to my ears; my stereo has been blasting and jamming like it’s 1980. Anna Calvi is the newest bitch that’s raped me with her amazing melodies. I’m digging Jill scott’s new LP, Sky Ferreira, Lady Gaga, Foster the People, Jake Owen, enjoying Coldplay’s return, Gavin Degraw, my favorite prostitute Lykke Li, Adele [of course], Jessie J, Kreyshawn, and Gary Go. Fashion wise there’s only one guy I’ve been stalking and that’s Christian Cota & I’ve developed a very BIG crush on him. Sadly, the only thing I’ve been staying away from is what’s and whose new in the dance world. I have two pieces I’m choreographing and is almost ready to premiere and showcase by the end of the summer and i didn’t want to be inspired by anyone else’s work but mine. So I kinda locked myself in a closet and got underneath my skin and created what I think to be my greatest work yet. I’m on my way ppl. Remember the name. ;)
